11 C-band Linac – Installation 3/3 HV modulators Both modulator orders (12 Ampegon & 13 ScandiNova) are placed and the Kick-off meetings took place. Contractual delivery dates: Nov 15Dec 16Jan 17Feb 17Mar 17Apr 17 Ampegon122232 ScandiNova11335

12 C-band MHI deflectors (S03CB14.1) Page 12  PSI ordered two C-band deflecting cavities and related waveguides to MHI-MS  They will be ready for commissioning in October 2016  The two deflecting cavities will be powered by the last station of Linac3 using an high power RF switch  The waveguide switch is provided by Nihon Koshua  The power test of the switch is in progress Last module in Linac3 (S03CB13) Deflecting cavities (S03CB14.1)

13  RF Gun – 1 week  SINSB01-02-03-04 – 2 weeks: operation at 10 Hz, conditioning at 100 Hz, RI structures never run at 100 Hz and nominal power  SINXB01 – 2 week for 10 Hz operation  SINDI01 – 1 week for 10 Hz operation  S01CB01  functional test – 2 months  S01CB02  from Jan. 2017  S10CB03–07, S30CB01–04  Jan. 2017 – May 17  S30CB14.1 (deflector)  S10CB08–09, S20CB01–04, S30CB05–13 RF conditioning Page 13
