4. CAUTIONS 4 Be careful using the hot plates. Use the rubber mitts to pick up anything that has been heated. Do not leave the evaporating dishes unattended on the hot plate. Once the liquid has evaporated, remove the dish using the mitt. Wear goggles during your investigation. Dispose of all liquids in the sinks. Rinse and clean all equipment before putting it back in the kits. Make sure your lab station is clean and tidy. Points will be deducted for leaving a mess behind!
