8 8 LIEE/ CARE Ethnic Media Based on 1 st Quarter 2010 PG&ESCESDG&ESoCalGas LIEE Spanish, Vietnamese and Mandarin print and radio campaign CARE None in 1 st quarter. The campaign will start in 2 nd quarter. LIEE/CARE Participated in 2010 Strategic Collaboration Conference for the Asian Pacific Islander Community  Participated in 3-hour Spanish “Univision Telecast” to enroll/take leads on income qualified programs CARE  Launched 1 st of 4 community events with WBC Enterprises, a leader among African American FBOs Participated in 25 performances of “East West Educational Partnership” IQP awareness/enrollment LIEE/CARE: Asian print ads in language (Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese) LIEE: Developed and produced Spanish LIEE video to increase messaging through CBO’s and public affairs groups. CARE: Bilingual direct mail and automated outbound enrollment & recertification calls LIEE/CARE Carried over joint system wide traffic radio media campaign targeting:  General Market  African American  Seniors  Hispanics Campaign designed to provide assistance program information and enrollment opportunities by driving customers to SCG website

10 10 CARE Process Improvements Based on 1 st Quarter 2010 PG&ESCESDG&ESoCalGas No CARE process improvements implemented in the 1 st quarter Phone Center extended CARE online enrollment throughout all Call Centers Follow up to customers who did not respond to direct mail campaigns via IVR messaging While there were no major efforts in the quarter, SDG&E continues to examine all program functions in an effort to streamline processes and to maximize efficiencies wherever possible. SoCalGas completed development of CARE Re-certification IVR system revisions. The revisions were designed to streamline the customer recertification process utilizing a more user friendly approach. Changes will be implemented during the second quarter.

11 11 Leveraging and Integration Efforts Based on 1 st Quarter 2010 PG&ESCESDG&ESoCalGas LEVERAGING Sacramento PG&E- SMUD-CRP partnership 213 CARE enrollments from leveraged outreach with VITA/United Way INTEGRATION Partnered with Neighborhood Payment Centers (NPC) for outreach events at local offices LEVERAGING Leveraged with food/clothing distributions, cultural events, employment information workshops, farmers’ markets, school events and community fairs INTEGRATION CARE and LIEE share leads between programs LIHEAP payment recipients are automatically enrolled in CARE each quarter CARE & EMA programs integrate efforts and messaging through all outreach events, communications and marketing campaigns LEVERAGING LIEE works with LIHEAP to provide customers with all feasible measures from both programs Capitation contractors provide CARE enrollments and LIEE leads INTEGRATION CARE receives high volume of referrals from the Call Center CARE and LIEE share leads between programs LEVERAGING Developing plan where DPSS’ Food Stamp /SNAP clients will receive SCG Low-Income Programs information in their quarterly mailing Agreements with two non-IOU municipal utilities’ low-income programs, will soon produce installations INTEGRATION System wide CARE enrollment at bill payment offices LIEE data exchange for CARE enrollment
