Thirty percent of school leaders in a 2008 national survey stated that online and blended courses are financially beneficial in their schools; the number grew 25% in 2007. Rational "Students who take CTE classes as well as academic classes in high school are better prepared for the working world, meet performance requirements of more employers, and earn higher salaries." -Eleni Papadakis, Executive Director, Washington Workforce Training and Education Coordinating CTE draws its standards and curriculum from the workplace.
