2
History Who discovered, when and where. Does its name have meaning? How did it gets its name. Interesting facts about its discovery
3
Structure Make a square. In it place the symbol of your element, its atomic mass, atomic number, number of protons, neutrons and electrons, electronic configuration and full name. Draw the electronic configuration of the atom.
4
Examples List 4 examples and where it is found in nature or if man made What type of element is it (metal, non-metal, metalloid) where is it found on the periodic table (period, group) At room temperature what state of matter. Are there any unique properties about its state of matter?
5
Properties List properties (density, boiling point, and freezing point, atomic mass, does it have isotopes) conducts electricity, conducts heat crystal structure if one Stability, reactivity and radioactivity?
6
Uses List some of the common uses for this element (at least 4). Does it have any environmental hazards?
7
Bonding Elements What type of bonds are typically formed? (covalent, ionic, metalic) What type of bonds with other elements and what are some of the common compounds formed with this element. List at least 4. Select one bonding element and show dance of the atoms. In the dance you must show how the electrons share or transfer within each atom to form the compound.
8
Quiz Make up 4 questions for Quiz This card will have 4 good questions about your report. Your classmates will be tested on these questions. You must provide the answers for each question.
9
Sources List at least 5 sources You must use Noodlebib format listing all books, web sites and movies that were used for your report
