Communication skills This is the most important leadership trait a person could have. Being a good communicator is important in order to sustain a good business. Communicating includes listening to others and working with them to achieve goals.

competency Good leaders are confident enough to make decisions based on their beliefs confidently. It is important to make decisions based on rational rather than emotional thinking.

honesty Honesty is one of the most important qualities People have to be honest to themselves, their team as well as their goals. People need to be accountable for their own actions, and be trusted by their workers

Team player Teams need to bond together in order to be successful No one can do everything alone, and therefore everyone needs to be a good team member and allow others to express their feelings

Intelligence Other than logical thinking and common sense, being updated about the ongoing trends is also a definite advantage It s important to understand the hierarchy of power through intelligence, and therefore show self respect

Courage A successful person is the one who takes a calculated risk when everybody else backs off The leader should be courageous enough to identify opportunities, and strike gold whenever possible.

Goal Oriented a good leader has to be a good visionary be able to set long term goals it is very important to set realistic goals

Inspiring A good leader motivates his followers and team to achieve bigger dreams

Broad Minded Being broad minded is as important as being an inspiring force for the team one has to be open to ideas and suggestions, even when they come from his juniors

Humor humor always comes as an added advantage alongside the aforementioned qualities the best way to relieve stress and/or to counter hostility A good leader should simply know how to use humor to boost the morale
