5.  My name is Eric Adler. I am a student at the University of Houston. I am majoring in Consumer Science and Merchandising. I am also on the golf team at the University of Houston. Eric Adler

6.  Every day I spend cash I get change. I Save it! I put the change away after each day. I am always surprised how much money I have after a few months. Imagine after a whole year!  Don’t spend money on wants. Focus on needs. Wants can come later in life when you have saved enough money by only purchasing needs. Eric Adler

7.  I have been told by some people that instead of saving just your change from the cash that you use, that you should put a single dollar bill (if you have one) with all of the change from that day. This will increase the amount you have ten fold.  I have been using all of these ideas for my personal savings, and I have saved $130 so far this year. Eric Adler

10.  Work hard to get an education, because in today's society money comes with higher education. Don’t take for granted any opportunities you have for a higher education.  I am playing golf to help pay for my education and I am trying my hardest to finish and graduate with good marks so companies will look highly upon me when interviewing. 11.  The University of Houston has a lot of different fields of study. I made the decision to come to the University of Houston not only to play golf. I had researched what it had to offer me other than athletics. It has a huge alumni around Houston which is great for finding contacts and maybe potential jobs. Eric Adler
