15.  Access to the CDW is through OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition)  Access to OBIEE is secure and managed at the local level  Each LEA/Charter must have a Security Officer or a designated staff person who can identify personnel who are requesting access to OBIEE o Approve, Disable or Deny registration requests o Does not manage User Names and Passwords

16.  Each individual must register and be approved for access to the CDW o The highest level of access to the CDW for an LEA user is Detail Answers o School level user roles only have access to Dashboards published by DPI o There is no Teacher user role in the CDW  Authentication is based on NCID for any ‘CEDARS’ related application  The NC Public Schools website offers a contact list of the LEA’s Security Officers
