5 Describe the Glorious Revolution.  Took place in England during the 1600s  Kings had argued their divine right (God gave them the power to rule over people)

9 Describe the Glorious Revolution.  English Civil War – Oliver Cromwell (military leader of Parliament) overthrows Charles I and beheads him. Cromwell created a Commonwealth of Puritans (strict Christians). Eventually Cromwell becomes a dictator.
