On the Bell Work Weeks 20-22 page (37-38), write the date and the question. Question: What is one take-away you have from this class last semester? Think about things you learned and what was the most interesting or valuable piece of information you received. Use complete sentences ( at least 1 )!! Bell Work 1/19/16: Quick Write

Number your next blank pages starting with 34 and ending with 50 (your last page should be “The Raven” activity). Pg. 34: “The Raven Activity” OR SKIP Pg. 35-36: Fold down the upper right corner (pg. 35) back so that pg. 36 is folded on; label Quarter 3. Pg. 37-38: Label Bell Work Weeks 20-22 on both pages. When you are finished, go back to the Table of Contents on pgs. 3-4 (Quarter 2) and fill in any missing record. Be sure to state the title of the page and page number or page range! Activity Two: Activity Two: Sample ACT Essays (Evaluate) Closure: Closure: Review Evaluations Homework: Homework: None!! 21 January 2016 Materials: - Spiral notebook - Writing Utensil - ACT Worksheets (2 from baskets)Objectives: - SWBAT demonstrate understanding of ACT writing process by reviewing CLOZE notes. - SWBAT analyze and critique ACT sample essays and their own essays by using the 6-Point Writing Scale rubric. - SWBAT develop ideas for an ACT writing prompt by using topic statements to thinking critically about a prompt and discussed strategies for ACT writing.
