Hebrews 10:10 “Have been sanctified” BelieveResult = “set apart (to God)” An action with abiding results
5
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. Hebrews 10:14 (NASB)

Hebrews 10:10, 14, 18 – Three Key Points
7
1.All who believe are sanctified 2.All who are sanctified are perfected before God 3.All who are perfected are completely forgiven
8
Hebrews 10:24-25 His way is to place others ahead of ourselves. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works”
9
Hebrews 10:19-25 When we go through difficulties, it’s important to act on what is best, not react with how we feel.
10
Hebrews 10:21-22 As things get tougher we need to: draw near to God, hold fast to what is true, and consider how to encourage others.
11
Hebrews 10:19-20 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
12
Hebrews 10:19-20 The “veil” under the Old Covenant was a barrier. Under the New Covenant, Christ becomes an Entrance!
13
Hebrews 10:19-20 When they came, the High priest came carefully, once a year, and with blood.
14
Hebrews 10:19-20 We come confidently on the basis of a final, perfect sacrifice.
15
Hebrews 10:19-20 There is no reason for a believer to not come before God!
16
Hebrews 10:21-22 and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
17
Hebrews 10:21-22 In difficulties, we should come close to God! Too often, the tendency is to pull away.
18
Hebrews 10:21-22 We have a perfect sacrifice to perfect us and a perfect High Priest to help us!
19
Hebrews 10:21-22 “House” The worshipping community of those who would be His partners.
20
Hebrews 10:21-22 That should give us a “full assurance” to come near!
21
Hebrews 10:21-22 …“having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” The sacrifice of Christ has made us holy! We can come with confidence, not in what we’ve done, but in what has been done for us!
22
Hebrews 10:21-22 As things get tougher we need to: draw near to God, hold fast to what is true, and consider how to encourage others.
23
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
24
Hebrews 10:23 Probably the theme verse for the whole book of Hebrews.
25
Hebrews 10:23 “Our hope” The “confident expectation” of faithful believers is that, when we persevere in our faith, we enjoy eternal partnership with the King of all!
26
Hebrews 10:23 Why should we hold on to that expectation through difficulties? Because the Lord is faithful! He’s not a liar and He can deliver!
27
Hebrews 10:23 As things get tougher we need to: draw near to God, hold fast to what is true, and consider how to encourage others.
28
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
29
Hebrews 10:24-25 One of the most common mistakes we make in difficulties is that we become self-centered.
30
Hebrews 10:24-25 It should not surprise us that the same One who taught us the greatest commandment would desire for us to think of ways to encourage others to “love and good works”.
31
Hebrews 10:24-25 Have you ever done that? Have you taken the time to sit down and think of way to encourage another person to “love and good works”?
32
Hebrews 10:24-25 “…Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another …” Have you ever noticed when that encouragement should happen?
33
Hebrews 10:24-25 From the standpoint of the Bible, one of the major reasons we attend church is to encourage one another towards faithfulness to Christ.
34
Hebrews 10:24-25 When things get tougher we often avoid gathering with other believers. Interestingly, the Bible says we should make it a higher priority.
35
Hebrews 10:24-25 …but not just for ourselves.
36
Hebrews 10:24-25 If we plan on being partners in the eternal reign of the King of the universe, that partnership should begin now. …and that means doing things His way.
37
Hebrews 10:24-25 His way is to place others ahead of ourselves.
38
Hebrews 10:19-25 As things get tougher we need to: draw near to God, hold fast to what is true, and consider how to encourage others.
39
Hebrews 10:19-25 When we go through difficulties, it’s important to act on what is best, not react with how we feel.
