You will be able to find yacht-related activities, and we would highly recommend them for the full San Francisco Bay experience. Also of note are the numerous parks and reserves around the bay. The Eden Landing Ecological Reserve is a great place to visit. We cannot stress how beautiful the coastal line is and would recommend the cycling tour. You can rent bicycles and just ride the coastline. For an alternate view, you can also get a boat and follow the coastline.

San Francisco was founded in 1835 by the Mexicans, and originally named ‘Yerba Buena’. San Francisco grew tremendously during the Gold Rush Era in the mid 19th century. Three consecutive earthquakes in 1865, 1868, and 1906 demolished the booming city. Then great expansions in the city took place, first with the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937 and later with the construction of high-rise buildings that would define the city’s skyline.
