21
The Approach Acknowledgement /clarification of joint key drivers – academies and funding Working with stakeholders to shape the service and make it sustainable Reducing the internal barriers to better outcomes Horses for courses – If the LA is not the best provider of a service what are the choices available to schools and what will be the role of the LA? 21
22
Things we are considering Are we clear on our future role in all educational settings – could we write SLA’s Is our model right Do we have the people with the necessary skills What is the best way to communicate with the mixed audience of schools How can the LA influence academies and sponsors What will we stop doing Are we going to trade more than we do currently If funding reduces further, how will our model adapt What do we have to do to make ourselves relevant to the future council structure What are the other agendas we need to be influencing/delivering 22
