Presentation of Vintimille PCCC  This structure is situated in the Italian territory, close to the border,  Working 24 on 24 and every days of the year, Putting together policemen, customs and military agents of the french and italian services,  Allowed to exchange police and judicial informations with all the law enforcement agencies on the whole territories of the two countries,

6. Italian requests Most o Italian requests come from the State Police (59%) and from Carabinieri (32%). Other requests come from The Guardia Di Finanza (Italian Customs Services) and other italian administrations (magistrates, Prefettura,etc...) 1 - Treatment of criminal, administrative cases related to public order information

7. French Requests Most of the french requests come from the French National Police (63%), then it comes from the French Administration (Préfectures), 19 % from the Gendarmerie and 6 % from the French Customs services

8.  Statistics activity : (15931 in 2014)  79 % of the french activity comes from the whole territory and 21 % from the cross-border districts

9. The major part of the Italian requests comes from the cross- border districts (73%) and 27 % from the rest of the whole territory

10. Main Cases in 2014 > 387 cases about burglaries, cars trafic and steals have been treated. Most of the requests about stolen cars concerns people coming from the east of europe. These cases need figerprints to be compared with. Most of stolen motorcycles go from the following harbours to North Africa, from Genova in Italy and Marseille and Sète in France. > 54 requests about violent assaults and armed attacks have been treated (39 in France and 15 in Italy)

12. Readmission agreement confers to the PCCC of Vintimille a national competence in the removal of foreigners in irregular situation on the French and Italian territory except for those arrested in the borders area (06,04,05,73,74 and Impéria district) 2 - Treatment of the Readmissions

Management of the Readmissions  3075 cases in 2014, at the request of the French services, 88 % of these requests received approval from the Italian authorities;  This cooperation increased of 4 % compared to 2013  Most of illegal foreigners comes from Tunisia, Afghanistan, Marocco, Pakistan, Egyptia, Erythrea.

15. 10 P.C.C.C which are under the authority of the Central Administration of the French Border Police and working with the local authorities (Préfecture de Département)

16. According to the bilateral agreements 27 cross-border observations have been managed by the PCCC. 11 requests from the French Police Services 16 requests from the Italian Police Services. Most of requests are based upon the struggle against drug trafics, tax frauds and steals. CROSS-BORDER OBSERVATION

Other Activities In 2014 PCCC Vintimille has realized crime analysis upon jewelry trafic. 250 000 euros of suspicious golden trade have been observed and mentionned towards the specialized police services. 5 persons have been identified and checks and judicial inquires concerning 56 suspects have been initiated. Special training in documentary fraud for policemen, militaries and customs agents including Monaco carabiniers have been organized. PCCC makes gambling suspect observation in the Casinos of the Riviera. 39 cases have been indicated to the specialized services in France and Italy.
