…Dedicated Micros has a new Integrated Thermal Camera Unit….
2
Robust, Integrated IP Camera & Thermal Imaging PTZ Unit
3
Compact, Integrated PTZ IP Connectivity 36x CCTV Camera Integrated Thermal Imager Dual streams so both cameras can be viewed side by side Integrated Camera Recording and full enterprise server within the unit
4
Why Use Thermal Imaging? It does not rely on ‘visible’ light and can be used in any lighting conditions including complete darkness Its sensitivity means that it can see beyond the range of traditional IR lighting which will only really have an effective range of 200m – ideal for long range surveillance Its long range effectiveness reduces the need for multiple cameras at measured intervals to ensure surveillance coverage It can be effectively combined with Video Content Analysis – people / vehicles have already been separated from the background, before the VCA processing of the picture has even begun The removal of night-time lighting, helps reduce customers CO2 emissions Its ability to see through fog and mist allows it to be deployed effectively in maritime environments
5
Thermal Imaging 101 Thermal imagers (TI) measure infrared energy emitted or reflected by objects The IR detector contained in the TI converts this energy into an electrical signal The electrical signal is then made into a visible pattern called a Thermogram
6
What a Thermal Imager ‘sees’... Cold – sky, outer spaceV. Warm – skin Hot - radiator Cold – reflection of sky Warm – person/clothes Hot – reflection of sun Cool – background
7
...and what it doesn’t! Glass Infra-red does not travel through glass Camera housings use Germanium – a precious mineral Walls Infra-red does not travel through walls Plastic/Fabric Heat dependant on object/person inside
8
Integrated PTZ with CCTV Camera & Thermal Imager Dual stream to view both cameras side by side Senses heat sources up to 900m away Direct configuration via latest Dedicated Micros DVRs Includes support for Point&Go and Absolute Positioning Features Camera shield for rain deflection and reduced sun glare 360 o continuous rotation
9
Camera Module Integral Day/Night CCTV Camera with WDR 36x Optical Zoom,12x Digital Zoom 530TVL Camera resolution Optically flat toughened glass 0.01 lux sensitivity in low light Integrated screen wiper (optional washer) 24 Privacy Masks
10
Thermal Imager Module Thermal module with up to 900m range 384x288px sensor 15mm (up to 300m), 45mm (up to 900m) lens options Germanium, anti-scratch coated window Auto shutter for regular thermal re-alignment 100mK (0.1°C) thermal sensitivity I I I I I ‘

Point&Go provides the user with easy to use, fast, accurate telemetry control via an attached monitor and mouse Perfect for remote and IP based applications Use the Pan & Tilt control of a DM Oracle Dome or Infiniti camera simply by clicking an area of the monitor using a mouse The camera will instantly respond, to any selection positioning the selected area in the middle of the screen Ideal for tracking movement through a scene. Removes network latency problems * Absolute Positioning & Point&Go require a Dedicated Micros Oracle Dome or Infiniti Camera connected to a Next Generation DV-IP product that has the enhanced user interface with RS485 Telemetry
12
Absolute Positioning Absolute Positioning combines the functionality of the Camera Selection Map with the Oracle Dome Select and move cameras to any area of the site simply and quickly Click in the area around the cameras location The screen will switch to the cameras new view The further away from the center of the cameras location you click, the more elevated the cameras view will become When combined with Point&Go it provides powerful and rapid visual control of your cameras * Absolute Positioning & Point&Go require a Dedicated Micros Oracle Dome or Infiniti Camera connected to a Next Generation DV-IP product that has the enhanced user interface with RS485 Telemetry
13
ICR ICR (Integrated Camera Recording) - Record camera footage at the unit as well as at any associated DVR or Video Server Fail safe decentralised edge of network recording and video management Full enterprise server embedded within the camera or device & on-board storage Local storage, either solid state or HDD completely independent of IP status Uses ATA over Ethernet (AoE) technology Highly-secure point-to-point transfer of video files to a separate storage device for backup and long-term archiving Multi-tiered storage architecture, provides multiple resolution and storage options which are proportionate to the storage medium No single point of failure, reduces 24/7 reliance and high network infrastructure installation and maintenance costs
14
Applications Ideal where no external lighting is required Monitoring a large open area – such as an airfield or campus grounds Perimeter applications - along fence lines or borders Monitoring trespassing along railroads or motorways 24/7 protection of commercial complexes – warehouses, R&D facilities, cash centres Combined with analytics (tripwire or object detection)
15
Compact, Integrated PTZ with combined CCTV camera and thermal imager IP Connectivity 36x CCTV Camera Integrated Thermal Imager – 900m visibility Dual streams so both cameras can be viewed side by side Integrated Camera Recording and full enterprise server within the unit
