8 Two ways to calculate volume: 1. Length x Width x Height = Volume 2. Water Displacement using a graduated cylinder

9 When reading a graduated cylinder, always read from the bottom of the curve (meniscus) Steps: 1.Fill the cylinder about half way and read the amount. 2.Drop the object in the cylinder 3.Read the new water level 4.Subtract the old level from the new level. 5.You are done!
