Lesson Objective: Why has Nokia Chosen China for some of its factories? Learning outcomes By the end of the lesson I will 1.give reasons why factories are relocating to China 2.be able explain the impacts of industrialisation on China and on other countries 3.explain how the changes in China might not be sustainable (extension activity) I am learning this because 1.China is a growing industrial superpower. As China grows, it will compete with other countries for the resources needed to continue growing. We are in competition with China. I will know if I am successful I can 1.Develop basic reasons why Nokia has chosen China.

Problem 2: In the past, China has concentrated on making cheap copies of products but now it is looking to spend money on research and development. Problem 3: China has many large companies that are well known in China but now it wants to get its brand names known overseas.
