3. My name is Trenton, I go to United Local Schools. I am 12 years old. I am in 6 th grade. I also am someone who likes to do crazy things. I'm also smart and funny too. This is my portfolio. I also like ducks.

4.  Did you know that ducks are birds?  Ducks also have wings.  Last but not least they have feathers.

5.  Info writing, I chose it because it is clear and it is a big writing and shows what I can do.  Fall is tells what I think about fall. I chose this because I used a lot of descriptions.

6. Have you ever seen an animal running around starving? Well listen to this. There is a girl that loves to save animals. Her name is Faye Carey. She was born in 1996. Faye lives in New Zealand. She works for the animal control. She is a teenage activist that’s loves to help animals. She was 16 when she started to volunteered to help with the animal control. She volunteered almost every Friday. Faye says that a lot of the dogs they find are roaming around. The dog and cat shelters want you donate and adopt an animal. They bring about 20 dogs to the shelter each week. So don’t leave your dog alone with no friend. Volunteer to help find thrown out pets. She has a face book page with pictures of animals. Also dogs that are for adoption. Look for dogs around water and give them to the shelter Say you let your dog run around alone while being chased by deadly animals. How would you feel when your dog is suffering alone? What if you were alone starving to death? You would be sad so don’t leave your dog.

9. I think that I’m good at reading but some words I have trouble with. Like the big words that are hard to say and words that are not my language. Words that are not too neat because obviously they are hard to read. When I read out loud it is harder for me to read clear. My words have gotten a lot clearer than they used to be.

10.  I think that I’m a good writer. I always have a funny idea on my mind. I always have long writings of something very funny. Something that makes somebody laugh. So I think of those funny ideas to make me and my friends laugh, and stuff. I've also gotten a lot better on my writing from the beginning of the year to now. They have gotten a lot more detail to them than before.

11.  On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer, I thought It was good but also sad.  The Tiger Rising by Kate Dicamillo, it seemed that you could predict it.  The Cay by Theodore Taylor, did not think that Timothy would die but really good book.  Island Of The Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell, this is probably my favorite it had so much detail and was really good.  Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen, teaches us about economic activities and is funny  Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt will be next book she reads next

12. The beginning of the year I was bad at math but I started to get better. This happened because I study more than I used to and paid way better attention than I used to in class. I have gotten so much better than I used to. So I plan to do the same next year.

13. My year has been a really fun year. We did so many activities. This is our last year of recess. We had fun times but lots of homework that gets us ready for 7 th grade. There were activities like parties or even some other things like coloring things. That’s how my year was.
