Human Research Facility HRF Ultrasound Training 11 Neil Travis Johnson Space Center 2010 Operational Notes Ultrasound is a 2-switch turn on. –The Front Panel power switch is turned on first –Wait approximately 15 seconds –The Keyboard power is switched on. All cables are male – female connections –A pin to pin connection is possible. 2 cooling fans are in the rear of the ultrasound. In the event of fan failure, the corresponding LED on the front panel will be lit. –We do not receive direct ground notification of fan failures in the Ultrasound

Human Research Facility HRF Ultrasound Training 12 Neil Travis Johnson Space Center 2010 Operational Notes If error banners appear, hold down the “Superkey” (lower section F of Ultrasound Cue Card) while pressing the “3D” key (top row section F of Ultrasound Cue Card). –This sequence typically happens twice to completely close the error. –Repeat until all banners close. If banners persist, a quick reboot (accomplished by recycling keyboard power, i.e. switching the keyboard power switch to Standby), may be required.
