Education History St. Francis Solano School, Sonoma, CA - 1986 Traditional, Catholic, k-8 school – planning monthly student Masses were a highlight Most of my teachers had a positive influence on me I wanted to be just like Mrs. Gallagher (3 rd grade) Mrs. Evoy (6 th grade and choir director) Sonoma Valley High School, Sonoma, CA - 1990 Large public high school – many electives offered and extra-curricular activities available I was placed in all college-prep, honors and AP classes – was an average student Loyola University Chicago 1990-1996 Elementary Education 91 credit hours Plenty of life experience in the big city – got married and didn’t finish my degree Governors State University, May 2014 BA Interdisciplinary Studies – my professional development hours were too old to transfer to Ed Went back to school after being a stay-at-home mom for 14 years…and graduated Cum Laude

Teaching Experience Mother Teresa Catholic Academy – Substitute Teacher Primary Resource Aide, 2014-present This is my ideal job – I love the challenge and variety it offers It is only part-time this year, but I can still sub on my off-days and hope for a full-time position later A Master’s degree will increase my earning potential and improve my employment prospects Mother Teresa Catholic Academy - Paraprofessional Substitute Teacher’s Aide, 2012-2014 Love the little ones – I spent a lot of time in first grade St. Liborius Catholic Church – Certified Catechist Classroom Aide (Grade 2), 2009-2010 Lead Teacher (Grade 5), 2011-2014 I enjoy discussions with this age-group Lead Teacher (Grade 2), 2014-present Looking forward to collaborating with our elementary school for Sacramental preparation Girl Scouts of GCNWI – Troop Leader 2009-2014
