3 HOW CONDUCING BUSINESS DIFFERS IN AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN: Australia  Lack of a domestic market  Less opportunities  Geographic isolation  Need to have international trade  Eager to do business with other countries  Successful country because of dependent trade.  Find prosperity in trade with other countries. Japan  Lead in many diverse sectors  Very deep historical roots  Deep personal relationships vs. just business relationships  A lot of time investment  Business models tradition and loyalty

6 CONDUCTING BUSINESS SUCCESSFULLY Australia Humility, it is very important to be humble and not try to seem you know everything. A hierarchy approach does not go well when dealing in business. Friends amongst all levels of business. Decisions are a team effort. Be laid back. Japan Focus on achieving, deep long-term relationship. Be polite, try not to show irritation. Never be pushy for deadlines. Preform as many favors as possible, in this culture favors must be repaid. Go over points several times and ask questions to ensure comprehension.

7 CONCLUSION  In conclusion, when dealing with any different country to conduct business it is important to study the current business culture.  There are several different factors and business varies vastly between different countries.  It pays off to be educated before entering into a new business culture
