LIT 100 Ethics, Infrastructure, and Troubleshooting This introduction course is 1 hour long and takes new staff through the minefield of computer ethics, gives an overview of the IT infrastructure at UWT, and ends with some basic troubleshooting techniques. “Pharos” IT – What is it? Actually, the unit is called Creative Communications (http://f2.washington.edu/fm/c2/)http://f2.washington.edu/fm/c2/ – Pharos is the name of the software company that created the pay-to-print software – We call this ‘Pharos’ because Creative Communications have changed their name numerous times Creative communications’ equipment: – Three ‘Pharos’ printers in the Library – ‘Pharos’ printers in the computer labs – The ONE ‘Pharos’ printer in the Copy Center – The staff copier in the Library admin area The UWT Copy Center are NOT affiliated
