Now have new skills in writing a basic audit standards. Aware of the cyclical nature of audit. Was useful to share ideas with colleagues. I will be using the new knowledge to perform an audit in my practice Gained new insights in that health care quality can be very difficult to measure, and is loaded with the frequently differing expectations of patients and providers. Effective means of measuring quality therefore essential. The interprofessional discussions associated with each section of the seminar helped to provide me with a broader perspective and expanded my understanding of the key issues. I will be using some of the quality management tools presented to conduct a review of my practice environment.
