2 Setting an old house on a high, high hill a very steep hill with a peach tree that never had a blossom

3 Character Traits James Helpful Saved the centipede Does chores around the house Lonely Frightened By himself Parents are dead Shy Bashful Doesn’t speak to bugs at first

4 PLOT James is poor, miserable and innocent.

5 He meets some bugs in the giant, big, huge, gigantic peach. When James went in the peach he saw Miss Ladybug, Old Green Grasshopper, Earth worm, Silk worm, Miss Spider, and Centipede.

6 These bugs are just the right size to get into the giant peach. When James is in the hammock [that spider made] he is no longer sad. He feels comfortable.

7 Review James is trying to help the bugs as much as he can. When the first thing happens, every thing goes wrong. Find out what happens. Dunt! Dunt! Dunt!
