Why am I doing this? It’s a LOT of extra writing!

So I always remember to use the correct subject and verb!

Let’s go over some of the others we have come up with. TEMPLATES: When you get to a section that tells you what is expected, write yourself a TEMPLATE of how the answer must be formed! Here are some examples:

When answering using ‘acabar de’…. When you come to a question with ‘acabar de’, remember the format: SUBJECT SUBJECT + acabar de + infinitive + ROTS. Remember to ALWAYS use your subject or subject pronoun

When answering using ‘acabar de’…. When you come to a question with ‘acabar de’, remember the format: ACABAR DE Subject + ACABAR DE + infinitive + ROTS. Don’t forget to CONJUGATE acabar to match the subject!

When answering using ‘acabar de’…. When you come to a question with ‘acabar de’, remember the format: INFINITIVE Subject + acabar de + INFINITIVE + ROTS. acabar de is ALWAYS followed by an infinitive!!!

Direct Object Pronouns First, write down the template for your sentence: Subject + (no) + DOP + Verb Subject + (no) + DOP + Verb

TEMPLATE: S + (no) + DOP + VERB Do you see that HUGE period at the end of the sentence? It is to remind you to STOP WRITING after you write the verb (ALL PARTS OF IT). Direct Object Pronouns continued…

Next, write the 4 steps to using DOPs - and do it TWICE: 1 for the original question/sentence and 1 for your answer: In the Question: S = ________________ V = ________________ V what/who? = ______ pista? ________ pista? ________ DOP = __________ In the Answer: S = ____________ V = ____________ DOP = __________
