Location of ribosome’s Ribosome’s are usually found floating in the cytoplasm. However, attached ribosome’s are connected directly to the endoplasmic reticulum.
5
Subunits The subunits of the ribosome’s are tRNA and mRNA. They both are involved with protein synthesis. Protein synthesis- the process by which amino acids are linearly arranged into proteins through the involvement of Ribosomal RNA, transfer RNA, messenger RNA, and various enzymes.
6
Ribosome's facts/functions Ribosome's are the workbenches where proteins get manufactured. Ribosome’s are complex, beadlike structures composed of 40% protein and about 60% of ribosomal RNA. Ribosome’s have no membranes. Ribosome’s are organelles, or distinct parts of the cell with specific jobs to do. One of the jobs would be making protein.
7
The RNA contents of ribosome are changed into protein molecules. They are also the site of the protein synthesis. Obama koolaid man!!
8
Ribosome’s: what it looks like. It is made up of proteins and has a globular shape. It looks like a bunch of tiny dots.
