2011 Holiday Parties ©SHRM 2011 Key Findings 2 Do organizations plan to have a 2011 end-of-year or holiday party? More than half (68%) of organizations will hold a 2011 end-of-year or holiday party for their employees. The percentage of organizations holding parties in 2011 has increased slightly compared with 2010 and 2009. Will organizations plan to have a end-of-year/holiday party on-site or off-site? Of the organizations that are planning to hold an end-of-year or holiday party, 61% of them will have it off-site—an increase from 2009, when 50% of organizations planned to hold their party off-site.
