Facts about India ● The capital of India is New Delhi. ● Asia is the continent that India is on. ● The Government of India is known as the Union government and he is also known as the Central Government.

5 Facts about the country ● 215 million children are age 5-17 in child labor ● 37 percent of the people are poverty line and they get pay about $1.25 a day ● Children are forced to weave up to 18 hours a day ● It cost $760 billion over a 20-year period to end child labor ● They kidnapper children so they can work they said they never get to rest

Laws of the country In 1986 they allow children under 14 to work as child labor by work on farm and doing handcraft. ● Any age of children could work ● They can work in dangerous places until age 14 ● They get education at age 14

Child Labor Conditions ● In India children have to wake up early to go to work instead of going to school. ● Some children work in making shoes,others making some kind of soda and etc. ● Usually they work in 6 in the morning until 7 in the night and they get less than 20 cents a day.

Ways to stop child labor ● People can protest to stop child labor ● People can also send letters to the governor to stop child labor. ● We can also do fundraisers and send money to the families in India.
