Purpose 3.01.02. General purposes. The general purposes of the Corporation are: 3.01.02.01. Support the Olympic Movement. To ensure the development and protection in Palau of the Olympic Movement whose aims are to promote the development of those physical and moral qualities which are the basis of sport, to educate young people through sport in a spirit of better understanding between each other and of friendship, thereby helping to build a better and more peaceful world, to spread the Olympic principles throughout the world, thereby creating international goodwill, and to bring together the athletes of the world in the great four-yearly sport festival, the Olympic Games; To provide equal opportunity for individuals to participate in sport competitions promoting unity, fellowship, and goodwill among participants and nations

MISSION To Promote the Olympic Movement by: Providing Opportunities for all Citizens of Palau to Excel through Sport; Supporting the National Federations; Developing Policies; Providing Opportunities for capacity building; strengthening infrastructure; Forging partnerships in order to integrate sports into the fabric of the Palauan culture; Preparing and maximizing the potential of all athletes, coaches, and officials to excel in all competitions from grassroot to elite levels.

Aim: To provide and communicate every opportunities available for all sports members and the delivery of sports in all aspect of our community, in every sphere of activity link to and within sport, to develop and realize the potential of sports members, individuals and our community Vision: “Excellence through Sport” Duties and Summary: Plans, Direct and Coordinate all Activities and Programs for the National Olympic Committee.

Key Duties & Responsibilities of Secretary General Perform a variety of assignments for developmental purposes of the interest of Palau National Olympic Committee and all Sports Federations. Perform a full range of professional management skills independently. Supervise all personnel involved in the developed of PNOC activities. Prepare special and annual reports to the NOC Board. Responsible for directing and organizing PNOC workforce through all sports federations. Attend all international and Oceania meetings for all Secretary Generals. Liaise between Palau NOC, ONOC, and IOC on the development of sports in Palau. Provide annual budget and solidarity programs for the NOC Board review and approval.

Maintain general communications with international sports federations in the interest of sports federations in Palau. Liaise between sports federations and the regional and international sports bodies. Report directly to the Palau NOC Board. Provide and liaise with government, non-government agencies, sponsors and the community on the development and programs of the Palau NOC. To see that the rules and regulations of PNOC are established and implemented Prepare Budget, Audit of the NOC

General Principles of Belau Games Promoting goodwill and friendly competitions throughout our island Nation. Promoting the Olympic Spirit throughout Palau and all athletes. Providing opportunity to all Palauans to participate in sports programs (athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, spectators, etc). Promoting Healthy Environment through sports events. Continue the development of sports toward regional and international games (Micronesian Games, Pacific Games and the Olympic Games). Sharing the Olympic Spirit and the Olympic Dream with all Palauans.
