WHAT? (this is the theme you think you see—it is also your thesis statement) WHY? (explain your reasoning) CAN YOU DROP EVIDENCE? (using ICE techniques and proper MLA citations?) So, in the end, while these three men lived in different times, their lives actually related on a profound level. We will be testing over the book after break, after I walk through a few elements of the text/movie. You want to be paying attention to quotes that are related to themes… I would look between the graphic novel and the textbook.
