The palace is located in the heart of London. Most of the time Buckingham Palace is closed from tourists. But you can walk around the palace, without limitation, and observe the daily ceremonial changing of the guard.

Changing of the Guard takes place every day in the summer of 11:30 and on some days in the winter. This ceremony lasts about 45 minutes.

In 1703, Buckingham Palace, was built as a private residence of the Duke of Buckingham. A little later, in 1762, the castle became new residence of the King George III. Over the following years Buckingham Palace always rebuilt and improved.

The modern form of Buckingham Palace is the largest palace in the world. It includes 775 rooms and covers an area of 20 hectares, 17 of which are reserved for gardens. Royal collections of furniture, porcelain and paintings gathered in the palace. Buckingham Palace has a pool, a concert hall, a cinema and a post office.
