Cavities The human body has 4 major body cavities 1: Cranial Cavity (houses the brain) 2: Vertebral Canal (houses the spinal cord) 3: Thoracic Cavity (houses the lungs and heart) 4: Abdominopelvic cavity (Abdominal and Pelvic cavities) -Abdominal cavity houses the digestive organs, spleen, and kidneys -Pelvic cavity houses the bladder and reproductive organs

4. Organ Systems The human body has 11 different organ systems 1: Skeletal (bones and joints) 2: Muscular (muscles) 3: Integumentary (skin, hair, nails, subcutaneous fat) 4: Nervous (brain, spinal cord, nerves) 5. Circulatory (heart and blood) 6. Respiratory (nose, lungs, trachea, bronchi)
