1 E VALUATION 3: W HAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION MIGHT DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT AND WHY ?

2 Media institution From the style of my magazine, My magazine would most likely be owned by SpinMeida, who is the owner of “Vibe” or Harris Publications who owns “XXL”. Each of the magazines produced by these institutes is known for its huge popularity in the young community and featuring famous singers such as Shawty, Mario, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, etc. These all have content that relate towards my own magazine and in comparison show common themes within their existing magazines.

3 Distribution These magazines will be sold in many retail stores and newsagents including many book stores such as WHSmith, Waterstones, etc. My magazines will also be sold online on popular websites such as Amazon and eBay. Also, for websites it is best to not put a lot of information on the site. Instead of this, something will be added that will provoke the viewers to purchase a subscription. By doing this, the viewers will be given a little teaser of what will be in it that will tickle their interest, giving them the urge to buy it. Furthermore my magazine will not only be in retailers, yet also be online for a subscription for a digital copy. This way the audience can feel free to purchase the product at any time. Publication My magazine will be published every once a month. This will ensure my content to stay updated with events and give enough time to gather all the research required for my magazine and write the articles that are needed.
