5 A nutritious breakfast…… Contains foods from at least three of the four groups in Canada’s Food Guide.

6 Examples of balanced breakfasts Whole-wheat waffles, fruit, and yogurt Cereal with milk and a banana Egg, whole-wheat bread, and milk

7 If you’re not really hungry… If you’re not really hungry in the morning…or if you don’t have enough time to eat breakfast… Eat a light snack when you get up; Complete your meal later on in the morning.
