Acts 5:42 ‘The Church: The Temple Outward’ Sermon

Acts 1:8a But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea…

Acts 1:8a But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea… Acts 4:1-2 The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. Acts 5:42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. Acts 3:16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.

Acts 1:8a But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea… Acts 3:1 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. Acts 3:11 While the beggar held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade. Acts 5:16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. Acts 5:42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. Acts 6:7 So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

Acts 1:8a But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea… Acts 6:8 Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people.

Acts 8:3 But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.

Acts 11:19 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, telling the message only to Jews.
