2. General introduction The University of Dodoma was formally established in March 2007 The first academic programmes commenced in September 2007. But the Medical/Nursing school didn’t start until 2009 Merged to one School in 2010 to become School of Medicine and Nursing (Prospective College of Health and Allied Sciences)

3. History of Establishment of The College of Health Sciences(Campus College) In July 2009 Prospective Colleges were up graded to become colleges and the Prospective of Health and allied Sciences became College of Health Sciences. At its Establishment, the College had two Schools:  School of Medicine and Dentistry  School of Nursing and Public Health

5. History of Establishment of The College of Health Sciences(Campus College) Enrolled the first batch of Doctor of Medicine (MD) students about 100. Used a borrowed curriculum from The Muhimbli University of Health and Allied Sciences.

11. NUMBER OF STUDENTS AND STAFF The Number of Students I the School has increased from about 100 in 2009 when we started to about 650 in 2016 The number of academic staff has also increased from 6 in 2009 to 50 in 2016
