2. Purpose of The Law of Sines The law of sines gives a formula that relates the sides with the angles of a triangle. This formula allows you to easily find the side length or the angle of any triangle.

3. What is Law of Sines used for? Is mainly used in architecture to help find distances and angles of buildings. Law of sines is also used in carpentry.

4. How do we use law of sines to solve for a side? Use law to plug in the known values Example: Find side c Step one: plug in known values equal unknown values (leave as variables) to known values to then find missing values. Since the values of a/sineA are unknown ignore this part. 7/sin(35°) = c/sin(105°) Then solve for missing variable (we work out the rest of the problem with them)

5. How to solve for an angle? First notice that when finding angles we flip the formula to where the sides are at the bottom and angles are on top. Example: Find angle B First start by filling in what we know and setting it equal to what we want to find and remember to ignore what we don’t know at all.
