bizarre: something that is odd or strange in appearance or behavior Part of Speech: adjective Would it be bizarre if… you woke up and were ten feet tall? a rabbit liked to eat carrots? your pet snake started talking to you? the characters in your favorite cartoon came out of the TV? the food in your refrigerator was cold? What is the most bizarre thing you’ve ever seen or heard about?

alert: wide awake and able to act quickly Part of Speech: adjective Would you be alert if… you fell asleep in class? you caught someone who was trying to sneak up behind you? you’re the first one to follow the directions to solve a puzzle? your mom has to ask you the same question three times? you see smoke coming out of a neighbor’s window and call 911? When is it a good idea to be alert ? When is it not so important?
