2.  The story of Richmond has a dark past. The history has been a centerpiece for the slave trade and the capital of the confederacy, which has pushed the community apart because of racism and inequality.

3.  Richmond commemorates the important and brutal history of this city by letting citizens experience a bit of the past with the slave trails, but also bringing everyone together with a community full of beautiful art and memorials.

5.  The art in the VMF, and around the city, has brought tons of culture and diversity to the community and has made it a melting pot. A place that had the cultural norm of whites versus blacks, now is a city of every cultural norm.

7.  The citizens of Richmond see this city as an old centerpiece for slavery, while tourists and other visitors see the new city as a diverse community full of some of the best street art and museums in the world.

9.  All of the art around the city brings the community together in a way, and creates a niche for every culture. These attractions makes everyone feel at home and welcomed in this diverse area.

11.  When citizens see how every culture in Richmond is a cultural norm, it creates a neighborhood that everyone wants to be a part of.
