Older Peoples Activities Luncheon Club – Operates 3 days/week with approximately 40 participants/day Meals On Wheels Service – Operates 3 days/week with approximately 25 participants/day Respite For Carers – Provision of respite for families of older people

Older Peoples Activities Foot Clinic – podiatry service operating out of the centre IT Training – provision of basic IT skills Work Shops – Provision of craft and physical activity programmes Community Cohesion Project – inter-community older people activities

Awards/Achievements In recognition of the services provided to Older People Dennett Interchange were the overall Northern Ireland winners in the Older Peoples section of the 2008 Calor Village of the Year

Research Work Social Exclusion and Ageing in Diverse Rural Communities research Project – in collaboration with Irish Centre For Social Gerontology, NUI Galway. The study consisted of interviewing older participants from 10 rural communities across, both, Ireland and Northern Ireland

Research Work o The study aimed to explore how age and rurality combine over the life-course to impact on the likelihood of exclusion in later life. It also aimed to develop a conceptual framework that emphasises the role of individual and rural diversity in the construction of age-related rural social exclusion.
