BIO PESTICIDE 1. Bacillus thurigiensis spray @ 2 g /litre water 2. Pseudomonas florescense spray 0.5% disease control 3. NPV virus spray along with teepol 0.5 ml/ lit water and APSA wetting agent @0.5 ml / lit and jaggery @ 20 g/lit water ( phagostimulant )

SOWING IN PROTRAY Growing medium – cocopeat @ 300 kgs + Neem cake 5 kgs + Azopsirillum and Phosphobacteria each 1 kg Seed treatment – Azospirillum @ 200 grams/ kg of seed and shade dried for ½ hour Sowing seeds one per cell, covered with cocopeat, kept one above other and covered with polythene sheet till germination After 6 days, germinated protray is placed over the raised beds Panchagavya spray @ 3% ( 30 ml/lit ) on 15 th day 19:19:19+Mn @ 0.5% ( 5 g/lit ) sprayed on 18 th day using rose can

1. Level the field 2. Excavate 4 feet wide and 2 feet deep trenches along the slope 3. 10 MT FYM + 10 bags Super phosphate + 100 kgs neem cake + 50 kgs urea + 50 kgs Gypsum are mixed 4. Azospirillum and phosphobacteria each 1 kgs + 50 kgs FYM 5. VAM culture 50 kgs 6. All the above are mixed with top soil and filled in trench MAIN FIELD PREPARATION

1. Drip irrigation system for watering and fertigation 2. Laterals at 5 feet pacing placed at the centre of trench 3. Drippers spacing at the interval of 60 cms 4. Dripper inline system with 12 mm diameter 5. Dripper capacity 2 LPH DRIP IRRIGATION + FERTIGATION

1. Beds are watered for 8 to 12 hours before planting 2. Pre emergence weedicide pendimethilin ( stomp ) is applied @ 1 kh a.i / acre ( 1.2 lit / acre ) 3. Planting in paired row system - spacing varies according to the type of vegetables grown 4. African marigold @ one row for every 16 rows are grown. 40 days old seedlings of marigold planted 5. Gap filling on 7 th day done PLANTING IN THE MAIN FIELD

INTERCULTIVATION 1. Foliar spray of pseudomonas flouresccense 0.5 % in 15 days interval for 6 times starting from 30 th days after planting 2. Staking with bamboo or eucalyptus pole on 30 DAP 3. Weeding on 30 th and 60 th DAP 4. Triacontanol @ 250 ml / 200 lit water ( 1.25 ppm ) sprayed on 15 th and 30 th DAP 5. Planofix 50 ml / 200 lit water ( 0.25 ppm ) sprayed on 45, 60 and 90 th DAP 6. Micronutrient mixture @ 1 gm/ lit ( 0.1 %) sprayed on 40 th day and 80 th day after planting 7. 19:19:19+Mn @ 1 % ( 10 gram/lit water ) is sprayed on 60 th DAP
