9. SAFER St. Lucie 501 (c)3 Non-profit founded in 2005. Merger - volunteer organizations active in disasters & long term disaster recovery organizations. Mission is to create a community that is equipped to bounce back more quickly after disasters. Grant/donation funded & volunteer staffed

10. SAFER St. Lucie Repaired more than 150 storm damaged homes since 2004 and mitigated nearly 500 low-income homes using volunteers. In FY16 >8,000 area residents have been educated in preparedness and mitigation. Initial focus is on those most vulnerable to disasters.
