3 3 To add old slides to a new themed presentation 1.Find your old slide(s) and add to your new template file (see option A or B) 2.Select correct layout (click “Home” tab on ribbon > look in “Slides” group > click “Layout” and choose relevant layout for content) 3.Reformat slide. Remove extra elements that came over from old file. Move text into title and content placeholders (if needed). 4.Click “Reset” (click “Home” tab > look in “Slides” group > and click “Reset”) 5.Take a look at your slide. You still may need to do more cleanup and another click “Reset”. *Make sure you delete this slide once your presentation is finalized* Continued How To Use This Template in PowerPoint 2010 or 2007 A. Drag slides from your old file into the new Kappa Convention branded template –Open both the old file and the new themed file –Go to “View” tab> look in “Window” group> click “Arrange All” to see the files side by side in PowerPoint –Grab the slide thumbnails from the old file and drag them over into the new file –Follow Steps 2-5 B. “ReUse Slides” feature: –Click “Home” tab on ribbon –Look in “Slides” group –Click on “New Slide” arrow –Click on “Reuse” slides –Insert slide from: browse for your “old” presentation –Follow Steps 2-5

The theme colors should automatically populate when you highlight your text. –To change it manually, the RGB equivalent for the blue text is R:0, G:146, B:210. The RGB equivalent for the gray text is R:127, G:127, B:127.
