Going through security… Place your carry-on (book bag), jacket, hat and any metal (jewelry, belt, change) in the tray. Have your boarding pass & ID ready. Security may ask you questions about your destination, what is in your carry-on and may require you to be “checked”.

How to pack your suitcase… Ensure that your suitcase does not exceed the weight restrictions. (24Kg or 50lbs) Put a ribbon or something easily identifiable on your suitcase. This will make it easier to find when we arrive.

Arriving in Toronto… ~ Students will move to the baggage area as a group to collect their suitcase. ~ When everyone is done, groups will be taken to the busses and suitcases will be placed underneath until we arrive at the hotel. ~ Students will give their ID’s to their Team Leader to be locked up until the end of the trip.

Hallways, foyer, elevators and stairwells  Keep noise to a minimum Key Cards  Don’t lose it! Breakfast  When it’s time for the most yummy breakfast ever, please arrive on time. Everyone will be seated. Breakfast is buffet. Please no PJ’s and wear your shoes!

Showers… Pool… Do the math… 4 students + 1 bathroom! It is recommended that a “shower schedule” is made to make getting ready each day more efficient. If there is time, everyone may have the opportunity to go swimming at the hotel. It is an indoor/outdoor pool and quite large. Bring a bathing suit & flip flops!

Security… “Open Door” Policy… Each night, a security guard will be placed on each floor from 10:00PM to 6:00AM. If there is an issue, the security guard will notify a chaperone. Boys and girls will be on separate floors. If students are socializing, all doors are to remain open.

Students are expected to remain seated while others are eating and keep noise and wandering to a minimum as to not disturb other patrons in the restaurant. Hats are not to be worn in any restaurant and cell phones are to be put on silent.
