3. Pop Up Blockers Right click on yellow bar and select “Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site”.

4. Login Protocol Do not share your login! Logins work on a “last in” basis. If you share your login and the other user enters in your name while you are in, you will be kicked out of your student and your input data could be lost.

5. Open in New Window You can Uncheck the box “Open in New Window Box”. This will put the IEP program in a smaller window but give you access to all the Browser menus including the Google spell check. You can leave the Check in the “Open in New Window Box”. This will open the IEP program in a larger window but remove the Browser menus.

6. Spell Check Options Google Spell Check Found on the Google Toolbar (a free download), Google Spell Check can be installed so you can spell check your IEP. The Google Toolbar is currently available for the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0 and Mozilla Firefox browsers.

7. Spell Check Options Firefox 2.0.0.0 or later has built in spell checking Works similar to spell check in Word 2003 Spell checks as you type Recommended Spell Checker for WebIEP

Status Past Due –Assessment time exceeded –Next triennial has been passed –Three years past since last triennial –Service evaluation time exceeded for 30 day transfer –Days to hold pre-expulsion meeting exceeded Assessment Plan –Assessment plan for triennial sent but not yet received from parent/guardian. Assessment Needed –Three years forward from the “Last 3 Year” date is approaching the number of warning days (default 60). The student needs an assessment. Send Conference Letter –“Contact Date 1” on conference notice has not been filled out and a year minus the 30 day warning has elapsed since the “Last Completed IEP” –“Contact Date 1” on conference notice has not been filled out and a “Next IEP Review Date” is approaching the 30 day warning.

11. Status Final – Not Signed –The IEP has been verified but whether it has been signed/unsigned has not yet been indicated. Completed –The IEP has been verified and it has been indicated that the IEP is signed/unsigned. In Progress –No other status has been set. Exited –“Exit Date” has been filled out. Does Not Qualify –“Eligibility ” has been set to ineligible.

13. Amendments Amendments can be done on the WebIEP system However, you must have completed an IEP on your student in WebIEP before you can complete an Amendment This has been a source of confusion for some Districts & Teachers
