2002 – 2004: Kotzebue, Alaska From August of 2002 to Spring of 2004, I taught in Kotzebue, Alaska. A small Inupiaq Eskimo village of 3000 people. The “borough” (county) I lived in was half the size of South Dakota, and had 12 villages in it. While there, Mr. Dibley enjoyed teaching, hunting, and riding his snow mobile (snow machine, snow-go).

…A little More Mr. Dibley My parents now live in Vermillion. My father is newly retired after 30 years of teaching high school band. My mother was once a PE teacher. My younger sister and sister-in-law teach in Vermillion, and my older brother teaches at Gayville-Volin. My girlfriend lives in London, England. She is half English and half French. She studies mosquitoes; how they infect people with malaria, and how to make those people better.
