Grab another sheet of lined paper, trim the red margin off of it, and continue. This page will then be taped at the bottom

(in your own words so you understand it) Does NOT need to be complete sentences but the more you know, the better off you will be You will be required to finish the section one words by next class and the entire list by the end of the unit (date will be given later but you can work on it as you wish) For instance: If the key term is a person, tell me why that person is famous, where and when they lived If a key term is a place, tell me what significant incident happened there and when If a key term is a war, tell me the dates and sides fighting and who won If a key term is a law or policy, tell me what it states, why it was written and by whom.

10 Daily Life in Virginia Mostly farmers Sporadic battles with Indians Hard lives led to shortages of labor –Indentured servants & slaves were used Headright system – colonists who paid their own way to America were given 50 free acres of land Uprisings against Colonial Governments (Bacon’s Rebellion) due to high taxes and lack of protection from Indians
