Conclusions Café con Leche is being successful in delivering short term outcomes: transmitting knowledge than later it is producing outcomes that include improving academic achievement and students’ behavior. Café con Leche is generating long term impact: the program is improving the personal dignity, the social responsibility and the civic responsibility of students. Thus, the program is generating opportunities for sustainable change in the community, which is the basis for promoting sustainable development.
