Hello class, my name is Robert Jones I live in Decatur GA, married and have 4 children, one of my professional goals is to fully utilize my master in education degree in the social services field to assist the underprivileged in obtaining their educational needs. The masters in education program has opened up my understanding to a lost generation of people that I believe in some form or another has been overlooked, I believe through this program I’m more aware of the needs of this population and it allows me an opportunity to effectively help. The most influential design and development challenge I have faced as part of the MAED program has to be creating an assistive technology plan for children with autism, I overcame these challenges by embracing the assignment and informing myself with what this population has to deal with and creating an educational plan that addresses the need.
