CYA/NSYA Membership Structure The members of the NSYA and CYA are organizations rather than individuals. Most NSYA/CYA member organizations are yacht and sailing clubs. Member organizations calculate what they pay CYA/NSYA using the following method: For each membership fee paid to a member club (be that an individual or a family unit, or any other membership unit established by the club), a member club shall remit to the NSYA the per member unit fees. Clubs may exclude from this calculation membership categories set up expressly for members who are not active or engaged in boating or yachting, whether power or sail. Currently annual dues are $24.00 for each membership fee, split between the CYA and NSYA.
